Just wanted to update you on Emma's surgery. The MRI on Friday revealed the spine and current brain tumor as stable, but confirmed the appearance of a new, smaller brain tumor. Docs worked on it for about 6-7 hours. Surgery went very well; docs are extremely happy. Emma did awesome! 100% resection--they got it all! Also, radiologist reported that he does not believe that the stuff in her spine is actually cancer, but something else! Yay! She is now in ICU and has all functions intact, although a little dizzy and slower speech. She insists on sitting up, not napping and wants to playing her nintendo ds. A little sluggish due to cerebellum being operated on and pain meds, but otherwise her usual sweet and spunky self! Please send your continued prayers. Thanks!
